Prima Donna

Today is an explosion of goatinessesss.  Marzipan has been complaining non-stop about the lack of decent food.  As you can see in the second picture she has a bag full of hay and is trying to intimidate me.  We decided to make the switch back to timothy hay for the following reasons:

a.) because she is getting fat
b.) because she is getting fat
c). we aren't milking her anymore so she doesn't need the good stuff for high production.
&
d.) she is fat

Marzipan is less than pleased with this change.  Mini Marzipan could care less, she is an angel goat. Marzipan however, is making her demands known in a vocal manner & everytime she thinks she hears us or if she can see us, she feels the need to protest her treatment.  I think she is going on a hunger strike, but I doubt she will make it that long, ghandi she is not.

The epitome of goat beauty

Not sure what this crazy face is for... but I can only assume it is meant as a type of goat threat.

A withering look
I headbut you until you bring food
I was productive today, I dug a couple of rocks out of our front yard. If it doesn't sound productive let me tell you, it was, I sweated profusely.  To those of you who do not live in Hawaii, please understand that these are not merely just rocks, but volcanic boulders, and they do not wish to leave the ground at all.  I hope Pele doesn't get mad at my rampant rock moving.  The scoreboard from my evening is Cassie: 2, Rocks: 1, it was a really tough rock so I don't feel bad about not being able to remove it from its resting spot.  Tomorrow I will give it another go, I am thinking that the rock is a lot bigger than I am giving it credit for and it will be pretty difficult.
